Among the most appreciated faces of stand up comedy is Francesco De Carlo's "Live in America", eight shows in major U.S. cities, starting in September. The tour legitimizes the international success of De Carlo, the first Italian comedian to tour the U.S. with an english-language show. The tour includes stops in Point Pleasant (NJ) on September 12 and 13 before arriving in Hoboken (NJ) on September 14, Buffalo (NY) on September 16, Syracuse (NY) on September 17, Albany (NY) on September 18, in Philadelphia (PA) on September 23 and Stamford (CT) on September 24. De Carlo returns to America after conquering international stages, establishing himself as the first Italian comedian to perform at New York's Comedy Cellar, a worldwide benchmark for stand-up comedy. In the U.S., he opened comedian Matteo Lane's show at Carnegie Hall and participated in his tour of major theaters in Europe and America, taking Italian humor across borders and finding a space in the American comedy scene as well. This year, in April, De Carlo again opened Lane's show at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
