Nino Marazzita, one of Italy's most well-known and renowned criminal lawyers, died in Rome at the age of 87. Throughout his lengthy career, he has been involved in numerous renowned trials, both as a defender and as a civil party. Among the most notable cases, Pier Paolo Pasolini's murder, the Circeo massacre, and Aldo Moro's kidnapping and murder. He also defended controversial figures such as Pietro Pacciani and Donato Bilancia. His son Giuseppe, who is also a lawyer, broke the news: "Today my father fought the final battle with the same determination as always, the one that no one can win", he wrote on Facebook. "He leaves a big void, as well as unforgettable memories of his knowledge, irony, enormous humanism, and kindness".
