In his address to Sebastiano Favero, the President of the National Alpine Association, Mattarella emphasized the values of solidarity and fraternity that have always characterized the Alpine Corps, remembering with emotion the fallen and those who "went on". The Head of State applauded the A.N.A. 's commitment to volunteer activities and the Civil Protection system, recognizing the "Black Feathers" as an example of patriotism, dedication, and feeling of responsibility, both on national territory and in overseas missions. He concluded his statement by wishing all of the meeting's participants success.
