Ivan Schirmenti from Palermo has been awarded the best European wedding photographer. Schirmenti won the Fep Awards 2025 in Denmark, an annual competition organized by the FEP, the Federation of European Professional Photographers, in which internationally recognized photographers from all across Europe participated. The awards event took place in Copenhagen. Schirmenti took home the gold medal, the Golden Camera. The competition featured 490 photographers from across Europe. Schirmenti is also a master photographer who imparts his knowledge and skills to audiences worldwide, demonstrating his authentic, natural and unfiltered approach to photography. He had just returned from his final tour in Australia. "I love photographing people's faces, with their beauty and their imperfections, I love to immortalize the innocence of children and the wrinkles of experience", stated Ivan. Schirmenti, who owns three photographic studios - in Palermo, the province of Trapani, and Frankfurt - has recently established his Business Academy: an initiative that allows him to connect with other professionals from across Italy who have asked for his assistance in renewing the way they operate in their photography studios.
