Conegliano is Champion of Europe and Italy among women, Trentino Volleyball is Champion of Italy among men (while Perugia will play for the continental title from May 16-18). The 2024/25 season confirmed the sporting excellence of Italian volleyball, but it was also a special year on the economic level, with record attendance in the arenas and TV viewership reaching excellent levels. In recent years, the interest of private equity funds in Italian volleyball has been intensifying. With arenas almost always sold out, in the future, the men's league will leverage internationalization even more. It is working to play an event abroad, such as the Italian Super Cup, for which requests have come from Saudi Arabia and the Emirates. In recent days, the Women's Volleyball League signed the term sheet with NJF Holdings, an investment holding company founded by Nicole Junkermann. The value of sports rights is also growing strongly because the league and playoffs were watched by about 10 million viewers this year.
