A prestigious international award was given to the State Police during the fourth edition of the World Police Summit, thanks to its commitment to prevention aimed at the very young. The summit, one of the world's leading public safety events, brought together law enforcement, experts, institutional representatives and technology companies to discuss topics such as combating transnational crime, innovation in police services and global cooperation. The Postal Police received the first prize in the Excellence in Customer Service in Policing Award category for its publishing project On the Trail of a Hacker, created in collaboration with the Geronimo Stilton Foundation and Google. The book, designed for children and families, recounts the adventures of the well-known mouse journalist in the world of the Internet, with the aim of guiding young children to a safe and informed awareness of the web.
