The 2024/25 Serie A soccer season has come to a close, providing emotions right up to the last day. It was a hard-fought championship, uncertain until the end in all its decisive challenges: from the Scudetto to the race for the European cups, from the salvation struggle to the placings for the round of 16 of the next Coppa Italia. Napoli was crowned Champions of Italy, winning the fourth Scudetto in its history and confirming itself as the team with the best defense in the tournament. Along with them, Inter, Atalanta and Juventus will also grab up the next Champions League. Bologna and Roma will represent Italy in the Europa League, while Fiorentina qualifies for the Conference League. Instead, Napoli, Inter, Atalanta, Juventus, Roma, Fiorentina, Lazio and Bologna will be the eight teams already qualified for the round of 16 of the 2025/26 Coppa Italia. Bologna, thanks to its cup triumph, will be the number one seed. At the back, Serie A farewells Monza, Venezia and Empoli, relegated to Serie B at the end of a difficult season. On an individual level, the title of top scorer goes to Mateo Retegui, author of a brilliant championship. Inter finishes with the best attack of the season.
