The exhibition "Giorgio Armani Privé 2005-2025" has opened in Milan, showcasing twenty years of haute couture. An overview, curated by Giorgio Armani himself, through two decades of haute couture. The Giorgio Armani Privé collection, presented for the first time in Paris in 2005, immediately struck out as a new version of the Armani style, both complementary and alternative to prêt-à-porter, united by the pursuit of a linear, elegant, and rarefied signature. "With his haute couture", reads the presentation, "Giorgio Armani dares, experiments, gives space to fantasy, but retains his proverbial concreteness and does not forget the needs of a particularly attentive clientele. With his feet firmly on the ground, he dreams and makes others dream. Even when he revives the magic of Hollywood nights with garments worn by movie stars and celebrities". To further enhance the garments, there will be a diffused fragrance - Bois d’Encens, emblem of the ARMANI/PRIVE Haute Couture Fragrances collection - and an original soundtrack created specifically for the exhibition by L’Antidote. The show, hosted at Armani Silos, will remain open until December 28.
