Two confessions shed light on the murder of Vittorio Boiocchi, the former Inter fan chief who was gunned down under his home in Milan on October 29, 2022. Marco Ferdico and Pietro Andrea Simoncini have admitted responsibility in recent weeks as part of the investigation conducted by Milan's Anti-Mafia District Directorate and Mobile Squad. Ferdico, who has already been detained since September 2024 as part of a maxi-investigation for mafia association and other crimes, confessed to participating in planning the ambush. This was reported by Public Prosecutor Paolo Storari, before whom the former prominent member of the Curva Nord made decisive statements. A few days later also came the confession of Simoncini, who told of driving the motorcycle from which the five shots were fired at Boiocchi. Ferdico, who is considered a central figure among the Inter supporters, was part of the leadership along with Andrea Beretta, now a collaborator with the Police, and Antonio Bellocco, a member of a 'Ndrangheta family. Bellocco was killed on September 4 by Beretta himself, in another dramatic chapter in an internal war that has upset the balance of organized Nerazzurri fans.
