Chelsea lifts the Conference League in Wroclaw, beating Betis Sevilla 4-1 at the end of a two-sided final. The Spaniards started strongly and took the lead in the 9th minute through Abde Ezzalzouli, served by Isco. The former Barça man put the London defense in crisis and came close to doubling the lead several times, before going off injured in the 52nd minute. With him, Betis also went off. From there on it's a Blues monologue: in the 66th minute Enzo Fernandez equalizes with a header on a cross from Palmer, who in the 70th minute also serves the assist for the 2-1 signed by Jackson. The Spaniards collapsed and in the 82nd minute Sancho closed the score with a splendid shot on the turn. Caicedo signed the goal poker in the 91st minute, scoring his first goal in Europe. Big celebration for Italian coach Enzo Maresca, who wins the first European trophy of his coaching career and brings Chelsea back to winning ways outside English borders, after their recent Champions League qualification. The Blues succeed Roma, West Ham and Olympiacos in the Conference League roll of honor.
