Being a parent nowadays is a tough challenge that varies from country to country. This is revealed in Eumetra's latest "Parents" research, which was done in Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. According to the findings, Italian parents are the most concerned about their children's future: 79% are anxious, compared to 64% in the United Kingdom and 62% in Germany. Among Italian mothers, the percentage increases to 81%, indicating that the mental burden remains significantly unbalanced. The most common anxieties are violence (48%) and juvenile criminality (45%), which significantly outnumber work-related concerns (35%). "In Italy, we are experiencing committed but increasingly tiring parenting", says Matteo Lucchi, CEO of Eumetra, emphasizing the importance of structural reforms and a new social awareness of the role of education.
