Formula 1 looks to the future with the 2026 World Championship calendar, made official today by the FIA. The most significant development is the conclusion of the Imola Grand Prix: the Italian circuit's contract has not been renewed, and Madrid will commence hosting the race on a new street track that is still pending homologation. The number of races stays at 24, with the season beginning on March 8 in Australia and ending on December 6 in Abu Dhabi. Also in 2026, due to Ramadan (February-March), the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian GPs will be postponed to April. The Canadian Grand Prix will follow Miami, while the European phase will begin in Monaco (5-7 June) and conclude with the debut in Madrid (11-13 September). The latter part of the season will see Formula 1 return to Asia with Azerbaijan and Singapore, followed by an American hat-trick (USA, Mexico, and Brazil) before the grand finale between Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
