In the last 24 hours, 14 landings have been recorded on the island, with a total of 655 migrants. The resumption of crossings, including those from Tunisia, saw patrol boats from the harbormaster's office, the Guardia di Finanza and Frontex assets engaged until late in the evening. At the contrada Imbriacola hotspot, before the transfer of 317 people by the ferry that left at dawn for Porto Empedocle, there were 659 migrants. Currently, 485 remain, but another 280 are already scheduled to be transferred by the regular ship.
