Palermo (Serie B) has fired coach Alessio Dionisi and hired Pippo Inzaghi, who led Pisa to Serie A last season. "To Dionisi and his staff," reads a club note, "thanks for their work and the best of luck for the continuation of their sporting careers from City Football Group, President Mirri and the entire Rosanero family. The Tuscan coach paid for a disappointing season and under all expectations: now Palermo will start again with Pippo Inzaghi. With him at the technical helm, Palermo will aim for direct promotion to Serie A. The coach will be given carte blanche: from staff to market operations. The management is already at work to shore up the team and give Inzaghi a valuable roster. Official details on the training camp will also arrive in the next few days: the new Palermo should carry out summer training in Chatillon, in Valle D'Aosta.
