It is called “Ingenium: Made in Italy Innovation Platform” the new strategic platform promoted by the Ministry of Business to support innovation along the entire Italian supply chain of the Fashion and Lifestyle system. The initiative aims to create synergy among the main sectors of the expanded fashion industry (clothing, textiles, eyewear, accessories, jewelry and cosmetics, but also the nautical, design and automotive industries) through the most important technological drivers, from Artificial Intelligence to Virtual and Augmented Reality, but also blockchain systems and Industry 4.0 tools, to accelerate the digital and circular transformation of the sector. Involving tech & digital players, start-ups, large companies and SMEs, brands, trade fairs, universities, investors and institutions, in synergy with major events such as VivaTech (Paris), NRF (New York) and Gitex (Dubai). Organizing and participating in events is one of the main points of Ingenium's formula, which will offer TEDx-style conferences dedicated to emerging trends, visions and solutions in fashion, tech and sustainability, offering exhibition spaces with live demos where start-ups, big tech and innovative SMEs can showcase technologies ready for industrial and omnichannel adoption, and roadshows in strategic cities such as Milan, Paris, New York, London and Dubai.
