"I work for the Louvre and other large museums across the world, but I have rarely seen such attention dedicated to cultural heritage as I have here in Naples. It is definitely a remarkable operation to secure these 4,000 works of art that are part of the heritage of the Incurabili". This is how Cinzia Pasquali, a world-renowned restorer, portrayed the amazing restoration work on paintings, sculptures, and furnishings at the old Hospital of Santa Maria del Popolo degli Incurabili, which is currently being renovated. Thanks to a distinctive and inventive tour of visits, it is now feasible to observe the restorers' efforts to recover the works and to appreciate the initial outcomes of the recoveries. The laboratory was inaugurated in the presence of authorities, experts, and the international press. Governor Vincenzo De Luca was also there, as were the Paris-based experts in charge of the repair.
