The Genoa-based company Racing Force Group has secured a contract with Lift Airborne Technologies for the production of carbon shells for next-generation fixed-wing helmets used by the U.S. Air Force. For the company, which specializes in motorsport safety products, this marks the start of selling equipment to the defense sector and a concrete step forward in industrial diversification. Stephane Cohen, Co-CEO of Racing Force, stated that the order from Lift Airborne Technologies represents "a historic moment for our group and for the diversification strategy that complements our core business. This is the result of a process that began years ago, when we were involved as a technology partner in the creation of carbon shells, bringing the knowledge gained with Bell Racing helmets for Formula 1 and other motorsports disciplines to the world of aviation. Our investments in this area are already bearing fruit in one of the industries with the most advanced engineering requirements in the world".
