Jannik Sinner continues his adventure at Wimbledon. The world number one easily defeated Australian Aleksander Vukic, winning in three straight sets and advancing to the third round of the London tournament. "It's always difficult to play against him; he has an excellent serve", Sinner stated after the victory on Centre Court. "I tried to respond as best I could and to be solid from the baseline, although at times I struggled a bit to close out points". He went on to say that Centre Court "is always a special occasion". The final game of the match was unusually hard-fought and the longest of the entire competition, which enthralled the audience. "I had fun because in the end I won it," the South Tyrolean tennis player remarked, smiling. In the following round, Sinner will face Pedro Martinez of Spain. "My team is already working; we know that the third round of the Slams is often tricky. There were plenty of surprises in this tournament, so being focused is crucial. I believe I am on the right track, but there is still room for improvement in a few aspects of my game", he said.
