Rain, sunshine, rain again, and finally sunshine: the chaotic weather made the British Grand Prix at Silverstone a spectacle of twists and turns, mistakes and penalties. McLaren came out on top, with Lando Norris taking his second consecutive victory (his fourth of the year), ahead of teammate Oscar Piastri. The Australian paid dearly for a sudden braking in the middle of the straight behind the Safety Car, which cost him a ten-second penalty at the pit stop. Third was a surprising Nico Hulkenberg, who celebrated his first career podium at the wheel of the Sauber driven by former Ferrarista Mattia Binotto. The German managed to resist in the finale the attacks of Lewis Hamilton, seeking his 10th victory on his home circuit with Ferrari.
