Giorgio Armani turned 91 on July 11. The designer from Piacenza expressed his gratitude to all those who provided him with assistance during his hospitalization recovery by posting a letter on social media. "Over the past few weeks, I have experienced the profound embrace of those who have thought of me: the intimacy of family, colleagues, and employees, the affection of the press in newspapers and on television, and the warmth of individuals on social media or through personal messages", Armani stated in his message. "On my ninety-first birthday, I'd like to express my gratitude to everyone for their support. It wasn't easy not to hear your applause live. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I'll see you in September", concluded the designer. Armani was unable to attend his past three fashion shows in Milan and Paris due to his recovery.
