Lele Lago, the designer who transformed an artisan company in Villa del Conte, in the province of Padua, into a landmark in the world of furniture, has opened Lago Americas Corp, a base of operations on the American continent, based in Miami. “With Lago Americas Corp we aim to take a further step in our internationalization path,” explains Gilberto Negrini, CEO of Lago. “The direct presidium will allow us to be closer to our professional interlocutors and end customers, while continuing to fully enhance our design and service proposition, offering tailor-made solutions for the American market”. Lago currently has a presence in the Americas with 27 stores. Upcoming openings are in Atlanta (Georgia, USA), Panama City (Panama) and San Juan (Puerto Rico). The U.S. market weighs just over 5% of the company's total sales. The short-term goal is to double the share.
