A member of the UK House of Lords was robbed in Capri's center. The victim was Baron Ara Darzi, a 65-year-old Labour Party member and internationally recognized surgeon. The incident took place last night in close proximity to the renowned Piazzetta, as the baron was walking with two companions. According to initial reports, two young men approached the man and, in a lightning-fast move, swiftly snatched a highly valuable watch from his wrist - estimated to be worth approximately €300,000 - before quickly escaping toward Via Krupp, vanishing without a trace. Baron Darzi, who is on vacation on a yacht docked in the waters off Capri, is a frequent visitor to the island and is well familiar with it. Fortunately, he was not hurt, but he promptly reported the incident to the police. The Carabinieri are investigating the event and studying footage from nearby surveillance cameras, both municipal and commercial. At this point, no leads have been ruled out, and detectives are working to identify the individuals involved using the recordings and testimonies gathered.
