Robbie Williams, confirmed as Fifa's official music ambassador, in his first official engagement in this role invited Laura Pausini to participate in Fifa's first official anthem, “Desire”, premiered at the opening of the Club World Cup in Miami last June 14 and available on all digital platforms along with the official video clip. Written by Robbie Williams himself, produced by Karl Brazil and Owen Parker, mixed at Richard Flack, and adapted into Spanish by Laura Pausini herself, “Desire” will accompany the players as they take the field at all Fifa tournaments and matches around the world, including the Fifa World Cup 2026. The two international superstars performed the song as a duet at the Club World Cup final on Sunday at Metlife Stadium in New York. “It is an honor for me to join my voice with that of an iconic pop star like Robbie Williams,” commented Laura Pausini, "The song he wrote is extraordinary, really touching. It was easy and natural for me to adapt the verse in Spanish after listening to the entire lyrics and music. It is a dream to be alongside him at the Fifa World Cup for Clubs".
