Eataly has opened in New York City the first Eataly Caffè, a format designed to meet the needs of dynamic, on-the-go customers. The first store combines traditional Italian food and wine with an advanced use of technology. The real novelty of this project lies in the integration of a cutting-edge digital platform, developed in collaboration with PwC, which allows customers to order remotely, pay with a few clicks and pick up products in store without having to wait in line. A solution designed for people who live the city in a hectic way, who do not want to give up quality but need speed and convenience. The first store of the new format has just opened at Manhattan's Rockefeller Center, a high-traffic location ideal for testing a new concept of this kind, which responds to a concrete market need: more contained and functional spaces, with a calibrated offer for a quick but complete break, from aperitif to lunch to breakfast and dinner. The restaurant seats about 50 people and offers a selection of high-quality Italian specialties.
