Jannik Sinner is taking a brief rest following his historic Wimbledon victory before embarking on a lengthy North American tour. After spending a few days at home in Sesto Pusteria, the world number one was spotted in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Photos with admirers and photographs at the Cala dei Sardi Yacht Club with president Gianfranco Bacchi, followed by a visit to the Villa La Contra heliport with Angelo Corda, disclosed his whereabouts. Moments of relaxation are in short supply on the tennis calendar. Sinner was supposed to compete in the Masters 1000 in Toronto (July 27), but has decided to skip it. He is scheduled to compete in Cincinnati (August 7-18), where he won last year, as well as the US Open (August 24-September 7). He now has a solid lead over Alcaraz in the rankings (3,430 points). Jannik will return to Monte Carlo today to continue his training before departing for North America.
