Italy will host the next meeting of the Arctic Circle Forum, the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation on the Arctic and more generally on the “three Poles”, which also include glaciers, so important for Alpine regions. The event, organized by the Ministry of University and Research, will be held on March 3 and 4, 2026, in Rome. Arctic Circle is an international organization open to the participation of representatives of government, organizations, companies, the scientific community, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, indigenous communities, civil society and other stakeholders of potential interest: an open democratic platform where ideas, opinions and visions can be exchanged. The event, highly anticipated by the international community, will focus on the themes “Science, Diplomacy, Security, Education, Research”, around which discussion panels will be developed.
