Following the success of the previous year, the Italian amusement park sector has set a new record in terms of visitors and revenue, as evidenced by the official data from the SIAE 2024 Annual Report. In 2024, there was a substantial increase in both attendance and offerings. The total number of opening days was 22,836, which is 4.9% higher than in 2023. Meanwhile, the number of admissions was 21,104,651, which is 7.4% higher than the previous year. The estimated ticket revenue from the over 170 theme parks, aquatic parks, zoos, aquariums, and adventure parks monitored by SIAE in 2024 surpasses the €300 million mark, with a 1% increase from 2023. Investments in new attractions, themed areas, immersive technologies, and green solutions have fueled this expansion by making the experience more engaging. 220 million euros have already been allocated for the current season (2025), with a total of 500 million expected over the next three years (25/27).
