From July 28th, the young people who will arrive in Rome for their Jubilee will come from 146 distinct countries, including those that are presently at war, including Lebanon, Iraq, Myanmar, Ukraine, Israel, Syria, and South Sudan. The event will culminate on August 2 and 3 with the Vigil and, on Sunday, the final Mass with Pope Leo XIV, who may arrive at Tor Vergata by helicopter. The city will be a welcoming place for the youth, thanks to the collaboration of the Vicariate of Rome, the dioceses of Lazio, and the Education Authority, as well as 370 parishes, 470 schools, and 40 municipal and sports centers that have made themselves available. In addition, many families will open their houses to the young people. During the vigil, Pope Leo XIV will answer questions from three young people. These questions will center around "friendship in the internet age", "the future", and "hope". The questions will be posed by a young Mexican, an Italian, and an American.
