The 15th issue of the magazine dedicated to Roots Tourism is out now. The monthly publication—part of the Farnesina project included in the NRRP—is available free online in Italian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. It collects examples of roots travel, as well as helpful recommendations, and encourages all sorts of travelers to organize their "return" to their beloved regions. This new edition includes suggested itineraries for Cividale del Friuli (Friuli Venezia Giulia), Ricadi (Calabria), and Bobbio (Emilia Romagna). Highlights include the national preview of two productions from Radici in Viaggio: the immersive installation 'S'amuJamu' and the docufilm 'Verbo Andare'. It also includes Italea's participation in the Accademia Marchigiani in Italia e nel Mondo Awards ceremony, and a recap of 'Radici in Eleganza'—an event held in Atina (Lazio) celebrating Italian roots through style and heritage. Then comes the presentation of Welcome Home in Sannio, where Guardia Sanframondi will hold a series of events supported by Italea from August 6th to 8th. There is also an interview with Simona Salis, a singer-songwriter from Sardinia whose current album celebrates identity and travel by blending the Campidanese Sardinian dialect with English, French, and Spanish. Other stories include the unveiling of the first “talking plaque” from the Civico delle Radici project, now on display in Sestri Levante, and the presentation of Sconfinamenti, a collection of stories inspired by the Italia Radici nel Mondo literary award, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the John Fante Festival. Finally, a variety of experiences for roots travelers across Italy, ranging from medicinal plant secrets in Aosta to stone carving in Puglia.
