Milan's Juvenile Court judge has imposed a travel restriction on three boys aged 11 to 13, who, on August 11, ran over and killed Cecilia De Astis, 71, in the Gratosoglio neighborhood while driving a stolen car and then left without giving assistance. The measure taken by the local police to place the minors in a safe location, away from their families, has also been validated, after they had left the Selvanesco camp together with relatives without first informing the authorities. The three have been found in Piedmont, but a fourth kid who was in the car is still missing. A special guardian has been appointed for the minors. On August 27, the Juvenile Court will decide on the most appropriate actions in the best interests of the boys, who cannot be held accountable because they are under the age of 14. The most likely choice is to transfer to a foster community.
