The poll of the top ten most sought-after professional occupations was conducted using over 60,000 job posts from major sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed, as well as other qualified sources. There is a significant demand for positions in the technical and creative areas of film and video production, including content creators, video editors, motion designers, video journalists, and digital distribution technicians for film content. This demand is not limited to the film industry, but also extends to the on-demand TV sector, which has been steadily expanding for several years amid the emergence of digital platforms. Showrunners are in high demand not only for writing, but also for supervising scripts and defining style, tone, and narrative structure, assuring continuity and a single vision for the output from writing to post-production. In addition to the creative side of the film and video industry, there is an increasing demand for management, strategy, and production support specialists.
