Italy will not take part in a multinational force in Ukraine. This was revealed at the conclusion of this morning's summit, during which it was underlined that Rome will not participate in any military mission on Ukrainian territory. On the other hand, monitoring and training options remain under consideration, but only outside the borders and once hostilities have ceased. Meanwhile, following the latest Russian raids on Kiev, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote on X: "The intense attacks last night demonstrate who is on the side of peace and who has no intention of believing in the negotiating path".
