The Cyber Security Foundation, Italy's first nonprofit foundation dedicated to cybersecurity, and the Cyber Crimes Center, led by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), have signed an operational agreement in the field of cybersecurity. The agreement enhances the collaboration between the two countries in the prevention and comprehension of cyber threats and expands upon the initiatives currently being implemented by the Cyber Security Foundation in the United States. One of the primary components of the agreement is the enhancement of information-sharing capabilities to comprehend and anticipate cyber threats, which includes the creation of specialized reports. Emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing, will be closely examined. The agreement, which will initially last one year, calls for additional partnership prospects through the creation of advanced training programs and specialized research and development initiatives.
