Versace’s new stylistic chapter kicks off, unexpectedly, from the Lido of Venice. Julia Roberts was chosen by the Prada Group fashion brand as the godmother of Dario Vitale's creative direction. The actress wore the Campania-born designer's first look: a daywear outfit consisting of a tailored blue wool jacket, a striped shirt, and jeans. The accessories were also Versace: a belt with a gold buckle, Vienna 95’ woven leather shoes, and a leather handbag with top handle and Medusa clasp. The American actress also wore a dress from the Atelier Versace couture line for the red carpet premiere of Luca Guadagnino's latest film, "After Hunt," in which she stars alongside Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Chloë Sevigny. Versace's new direction will make its official debut during next Milan Fashion Week, at the end of September.
