On the evening of September 7th, the sky provided a rare and spectacular event: a total lunar eclipse, culminating in the evocative "Blood Moon". This occurs when the Earth puts itself between the Sun and the satellite, casting its shadow on the lunar disk. The darkening started with a gradual decrease in brightness, culminating in the central phase, during which the Moon assumed its characteristic reddish tint as a result of the diffusion of sunlight through the Earth's atmosphere. Due to favorable weather circumstances, most Italians were able to view the phenomena simply by looking eastward, without the need for any special equipment. In many places, enthusiasts and the curious gathered to see the transit, turning the night into a time of sharing under the stars.
