VSP Vision, a company headquartered in California, has executed an agreement to acquire Marcolin, a prominent Veneto-based eyewear manufacturer. Marcolin, established in 1961, designs and manufactures sunglasses and prescription eyewear for some of the industry's most prominent brands. Its luxury and lifestyle brands include Tom Ford, Zegna, Christian Louboutin, IC! Berlin, Max Mara, and others. The company distributes its products in over 125 countries and maintains a global network of 15 subsidiaries. "The acquisition of Marcolin further shows our commitment to targeted expansion that will bring greater value to VSP's shareholders, customers, physicians, and key users", said Michael Guyette, president and CEO of VSP Vision, headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California. For the initial six months of 2025, Marcolin generated €295.7 million in net sales.
