Two parliamentary inquiries were raised, one in the Chamber of Deputies and one in the Senate, regarding the expulsion orders issued by law enforcement against protesters who opposed the presence of Israeli soldiers in Sardinia. The Left-Green Alliance will present them, urging the "immediate revocation" of the order that affected a dozen persons. A request for access to records has also been submitted to discover "whether there is an agreement with the Israeli government", stated Giuseppe De Cristofaro, the leader of the AVS group in the Senate. At a press conference in the Chamber of Deputies, Avs reviewed an issue that "has received too little attention." According to activist Vittoria Nicoli, "IDF soldiers have been arriving in Santa Teresa di Gallura for a period of 'decompression' on weekly flights since the end of August. These individuals are committing war crimes, and they have arrived in Gallura at the expense of the Italian state. They are being hosted by a five-star resort, and they are being escorted and protected. We wonder how this is possible, and who these soldiers are: we're not talking about tourists, but people involved in genocide". Additionally, some of the protesters who are opposing these arrivals are receiving expulsion orders from the Sassari police headquarters in the city of Olbia. MP Elisabetta Piccolotti emphasizes that this is a "very serious abuse of power that limits personal freedom". MP Francesca Ghirra points out that "many of these people live and work in the Olbia area".
