Everything is set for Tuesday, September 30, when the Verona Arena will host a huge international event dedicated to tenor Luciano Pavarotti, marking the 90th anniversary of his birth and the 20th anniversary of his death. This one-of-a-kind event, held in the city where William Shakespeare placed his love romance Romeo and Juliet, will honor the exceptional career and musical legacy of the famous Italian tenor, who is well-known around the world. An outstanding cast will bring together national and international music stars for the first time on one stage, including Laura Pausini, Andrea Bocelli, and Il Volo, as well as Spanish tenors José Carreras and Plácido Domingo. Also included in the event will be the youthful voices of the international opera scene, for whom the Maestro served as a mentor and role model. A combination of opera and pop music perfectly suited to someone who, like few others, was able to bring opera to the people.
