For the first time, Italy’s innovation ecosystem stepped into the spotlight in Nashville, Tennessee, at 3686—the South’s leading conference for startups, investors, and innovation, now in its twelfth edition. The event showcased Italian creativity and technical know-how, with three startups—2hire, Alba Robot, and Volvero—presenting their ideas before more than 300 international investors. 2hire, represented by founder Filippo Agostino, demonstrated how its technology can turn any vehicle into a digital device, opening the door to new mobility services. Alba Robot, led by Daniel Chiaravalli, drew attention with its integration of robotics and AI, offering autonomous transport solutions for both people and goods. Volvero, with CEO Marco Filippi, unveiled an innovative car-sharing platform designed to connect private vehicle owners with users, encouraging more sustainable and inclusive mobility. Their participation was made possible through the second edition of the contest “The Perfect Pitch – Rock Your Startup”, promoted by RetImpresa Confindustria, which gave Italian innovators access to key U.S. networks, funding opportunities, and international visibility.
