A 23-year-old from Valcamonica is hospitalized in serious condition at Brescia’s Civil Hospital after falling from the roof of a moving car in Esine, in the province of Brescia. The accident happened at dawn, around 5:30 a.m., during a foolish stunt with a group of friends aged 18 to 24. According to the Carabinieri's findings, the young man was lying on the roof of a car driven by a woman his age. He lost his balance after exiting a roundabout, possibly owing to abrupt acceleration, and fell to the asphalt, brutally banging his head. He was found unconscious and he was airlifted in critical condition and underwent delicate surgery: his prognosis remains reserved. Videos of the incident were discovered on the boy's cell phone, indicating a social media challenge inspired by dangerous trends such as car surfing. His friends, in shock, called for help immediately after the impact.
