Today marks the end of Marmomac 2025, the 59th edition which has recently transformed Verona into the international capital of natural stone, hosted at Veronafiere. "Marmomac brings together a value of 10 billion euros," says Adolfo Rebughini, Director General of Veronafiere, in an interview with the newspaper L'Arena. "It is not merely a showcase; it is a catalyst for opportunities: contracts are executed, new markets are established, and strategic relationships are established". Over 1,400 companies from 54 countries participated in the event, as did over 50,000 professional operators from 140 nationalities. Two-thirds of the exhibitors came from abroad, confirming the fair's global reach. "Marmomac is a sort of natural stone world championship", says Rebughini. "For many companies, this is the event that determines their internationalization strategies for the year". The focus now shifts to important markets, including the United States and the Arabian Peninsula, with megaprojects such as Neom and Vision 2030, as well as Canada, Latin America, and East Africa. "Two-thirds of the companies present come from abroad, confirming that Verona is truly the global heart of the sector", reiterates Rebughini. Following its début at Marmomac Brazil in São Paulo and its confirmation of the Cachoeiro Stone Fair in Brazil, the brand has further established its presence in the United States and the Middle East, illustrating the expansion of an international ecosystem.
