The Salone Franchising Milano, an event that is a significant milestone in the retail and franchising networks industry, was inaugurated at the Allianz MiCo by Fiera Milano and will continue until Saturday, October 4th. This year's edition has amazing figures. More than 120 brands are present, primarily in the food and beverage, fitness, retail, and specialized retail sectors. Alongside the exhibition area, a busy schedule of workshops and roundtables will liven up the event: 30 meetings with over 80 speakers, designed both for aspiring entrepreneurs wanting to enter the franchising world and for those already managing a business who wish to strengthen or expand it. Franchising in Italy remains a thriving sector, accounting for 1.8% of national added value. "We're talking about a sector that employs over 290,000 people and generates a total turnover of approximately €36 billion", said Roberto Foresti, Fiera Milano's Deputy General Manager. "This event represents a strategic opportunity, especially for young people, as it offers them the chance to become entrepreneurs". The data supports this: franchised stores experienced a 2.2% increase in 2024, and 2025 forecasts anticipate an additional 3.9% increase in turnover. These signals boost trust in a business strategy capable of attracting investors, creating jobs and innovation, and meeting new customer expectations.
