Meloni thanked Trump for his continued commitment to ending the conflict and acknowledged the key roles played by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey in mediating the accord. She called the deal a unique opportunity to bring lasting peace and urged all sides to fully honor their commitments and move swiftly to the next steps outlined in the plan.
The Italian leader reaffirmed that Italy will support international mediation efforts and stands ready to contribute to the stabilization, reconstruction, and development of Gaza.
