At a time when artificial intelligence and the green transition are reshaping how we produce, care for, live, and innovate, an increasing number of women are helping to drive this transformation. This is demonstrated by the GammaDonna Award 2025 finalists, entrepreneurs who are transforming key sectors of the Italian economy, such as femtech medical diagnostics and waste recycling for the circular economy, AI supporting neurodiversity and sustainable blockchain infrastructure, circular furniture for real estate, and systemic design for innovation and social impact. As part of the "Turin European Capital of Innovation 2024-2025" initiative, six finalists will compete for the title of Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year on November 4th at Palazzo Madama, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The finalists are Rosilari Bellacosa of SynDiag [Turin], Silvia Costa of GCE [La Spezia], Valeria Della Rosa of Oli Help [Milan], Francesca Failoni of Alps Blockchain [Trento], Eneida Lila of Lizard [Milan], and Simona Maschi of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design [Copenhagen]. The event will also include the announcement of the winners of the Women Startup Award for the most innovative startup, as well as the Special Mention for Internationalization given by DHL Express Italy, which renews its commitment to connecting people and improving lives by actively supporting female entrepreneurship beyond its borders.
