A car that needs frequent repairs can become a financial burden and generate a variety of daily difficulties, including delays, tension, and unforeseen situations. But which car brands need the most maintenance? A recent survey undertaken by ACTRONICS, a company that specializes in the overhaul of automotive electrical components, showed the most often repaired automobile brands in Italy, as well as the regions and provinces with the most

repairs. And the results may be surprising. Ford is the most frequently repaired brand in Italy, with an impressive 25.39% of repairs being completed at ACTRONICS partner garages. This figure, however, does not imply that Ford is intrinsically unreliable. Rather, it reflects the common problems seen by select models, which are notorious for electronic faults with specific components such as ABS/ESP modules and dashboards. Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz follow, both having a well-established reputation for quality and dependability, but, despite their smaller numbers than Ford, are not without flaws. Opel and Audi remain among the top 10, but at reduced percentages. Fiat, the dominant Italian brand, ranks just sixth, with BMW, Peugeot, and Renault rounding out the top ten.
