Nevertheless, the extent to which this phenomenon affects all Italians varies, as a result of the distinct lifestyles of couples. Surveys have revealed that the most vulnerable individuals are those from Lombardy, who are more frequently confronted with challenges during this time of year, followed by Veneto, Lazio, Piedmont, and Emilia Romagna. However, what are the most prevalent symptoms reported by Italians as autumn approaches? Anxiety and irritability are the most common symptoms, which are often accompanied by sleep difficulty or insomnia. Weakness or tiredness are frequently accompanied by a lack of motivation. Other typical manifestations of the period include the onset of nervous hunger, which often leads to weight gain, and mild gastric disorders such as difficulty in digestion. Finally, the occurrence of colds and seasonal ailments, which could be linked to imbalances in the intestinal microbiota, sensitive to dietary changes.
