The 20th edition of the Rome Film Festival is now in full swing. Until October 26, the event will take place at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, the iconic complex designed by Renzo Piano, home to one of the most fascinating red carpets in the world. This year's festival, hosted by Ema Stokholma, an Italian-French DJ and radio host, began with Riccardo Milani's "Life Goes This Way", a comedy set in Sardinia inspired by the true story of Efisio Mulas, a solitary shepherd, and Giacomo, president of a powerful real estate group. Among the most anticipated international titles is Lynne Ramsay's "Die My Love", which is already in competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and stars Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. In the non-competitive category, Alice Winocour's "Couture", starring Angelina Jolie and Louis Garrel, stands out. Then there's Luc Besson's "Dracula: The Lost Love", which will have its world premiere in Rome ahead of its theatrical release on October 29. The film, starring Christoph Waltz, Caleb Landry Jones, and Matilda De Angelis, is a retelling of the vampire legend that centers on the origins of Count Dracula's eternal damnation. A crowded and diverse roster, mixing the biggest names in international cinema with the most exciting offerings from the Italian film scene, will immerse the Italian capital in a Hollywood-like atmosphere, at least for a few days.
