Sofia Corradi, an educator and university professor known throughout Europe as the "Erasmus mother", died in Rome at the age of 91. Corradi, a full professor of Educational Sciences at Roma Tre University, founded the Erasmus student exchange program, which enabled millions of young people to study and train abroad, contributing to the development of a more European generation receptive to international discourse. Numerous prizes and distinctions have recognized her dedication to education and worldwide mobility, but most importantly, she has earned the respect of those who have had the opportunity to learn as a result of her vision.
