Giuseppe Marsocci is the new CEO of Armani. The appointment is effective immediately and includes his concurrent appointment to the Board of Directors. The 61-year-old manager from Turin has spent 35 years in the fashion and luxury industry, 23 of which within the Armani Group, holding roles of growing responsibility between Milan and abroad—particularly in New York, where he served as CEO Armani America. "Since 2019, he has directly supported Mr. Armani in the global management of the business as Deputy General Manager and Global Chief Commercial Officer", according to the company's statement. Marsocci, as unanimously proposed by the Armani Foundation, will report to the Board of Directors, which is chaired by Leo Dell'Orco. "I thank the Foundation, the Board of Directors, and the Armani family for the trust they have placed in me", Marsocci told reporters. "This is an extremely important undertaking that preserves and increases the value of one of the world's most iconic Made in Italy brands, a brand that has gone beyond being merely a label to rightfully become a true lifestyle icon".
