Poste Italiane is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) with a stamp from its "Social Values" thematic series. The stamp's vignette features the 50th anniversary logo of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), the largest organization representing the more than 20 million Italian Americans living in the United States, against a star-studded background reminiscent of the American flag. The stamp is completed by the inscriptions “National Italian American Foundation", “Italia", and the postage indication “B zona 2". The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) held its 50th Anniversary Gala on October 18 at the Washington Hilton, honoring a half-century of dedication to promoting Italian culture and building relations between Italy and the United States. The evening's prizes celebrated Italian brilliance and innovation in entrepreneurship, research, education, and the arts. Among the honorees were tenor Andrea Bocelli; John Elkann (CEO of Exor N.V., Chairman of Ferrari N.V. and Stellantis N.V.); Flavio Cattaneo (CEO of Enel Group); Roberto Cingolani (CEO & General Director of Leonardo S.p.A.); Stefano Antonio Donnarumma (CEO & General Director of FS Italiane Group); Kamel Ghribi (President of GKSD and Vice President of the San Donato Group); Doug Leone (Partner at Sequoia Capital); and Katia Passerini (27th President of Gonzaga University).
